The Neelan Tiruchelvam Trust (NTT) is an indigenous philanthropic organization that provides grants to civil society organizations (CSOs) to engage in work that promotes good governance, social justice, peace, and reconciliation. It was established in 2001 after the assassination of Dr. Neelan Tiruchelvam – a Sri Lankan legislator, constitutional scholar, peacemaker and institution builder, who actively worked to build peace through non-violent means.

The mission of NTT is to collectively promote the protection of human rights, peace and reconciliation, sharing responsibility, resources and risks through strategic partnerships with civil society, the business community, diaspora, academia and donors. Its vision is the establishment and protection of a just, equitable and peaceful society. It focuses on organizations working with marginalized, vulnerable and underserved sections of society and seeks to build capacity and networks alongside grant-making.
