Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) prepared these two documents to assist State prison departments, prison visitors and monitoring institutions in periodic monitoring of prisons and ensuring that effective measures are in place to effectively manage COVID-19 in prisons.

CHRI believes that these are useful and practical measures that must be adopted at every prison in the country to effectively and efficiently manage COVID-19 in prisons.
