Action Vivre Ensemble (AVE) is an NGO of Catholic origin which fights against all forms of poverty and social exclusion throughout the territory of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Since 1977, AVE has pursued three inseparable missions with this objective:

1. Support grassroots associations that carry out effective local projects to combat poverty and social exclusion;
2. Conduct awareness campaigns on situations of poverty, the causes of it, the mechanisms that make it persist and the solutions that exist to stop it;
3. Call on Belgian political decision-makers to develop and enforce laws to structurally combat poverty and social exclusion.
