The Center for Research and Exchange on Security and Justice (CRESEJ) has a long tradition of teaching and action research, which puts knowledge at the service of improving living conditions of people.

The mission of CRESEJ is to produce, mobilize and popularize scientific knowledge and evidence in the areas of security and criminal justice to a diversity of audiences. The Center works to improve the quality and efficiency of penal administration by developing support tools, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms and by facilitating the creation of spaces for dialogue between decision-makers and intervention actors, private, public and para-public.
