The Cape Declaration adopted by consensus

One of the key outcomes of the Stellenbosch Convening, was the adoption by consensus of the Cape Declaration by participants of the Campaign’s Annual Convening in Stellenbosch, South Africa in September 2022. Capturing much of the key issues and recommendations from the Convening, the Cape Declaration has already begun to serve as an effective springboard and important advocacy tool for campaign members and supporters to advance the decriminalisation of poverty, status and activism.
