Legal Resources Foundation Trust (LRF) is a national not for profit, human rights organization that promotes human rights, rule of law and access to justice. LRF was founded in 1993 as a project under the stewardship of the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) and afterwards morphed into an organization on registration as a trust in the year 2000. Thirty-five (35) years later, LRF has grown into a national organization currently operating in nineteen counties (and satelliting ten counties with its pool of paralegals & community organizers) and steering inclusivity rights, legal literacy, electoral governance, gender justice, security governance, access to justice ecosystem-governance, social economic justice, and democracy-oriented programming.

Our vision is a just and fair society with the mission being to enhance access to justice for the indigent, vulnerable and marginalized communities through promoting effective and efficient justice systems, research, advocacy, innovations and knowledge management.
